ActiveWriter FAQ

Q: On VS2005, when I drag tables from Server Explorer into ActiveWriter design surface, an error and a giant red X appears on the design surface. Why?
This is a known issue without a fix at the moment. Good news is that, when you discard the error message you can save the .actiw file. When you reopen, you'll see that dropped tables are generated properly. This issue is fixed in VS 2008.
