Help and download available here.

If you missed the announcement, it is a visual designer, an addin for Visual Studio 2005, to design a domain model and to generate code decorated with ActiveRecord attributes.

Please send bugs, suggestions and feature request through the Navigation pane of the site.

Thanks To

ActiveRecord team for the great and well supported library, NHibernate and Hibernate community for making this chain-reaction possible, Microsoft DSL Tools team for making DSL modelling this easy, everyone at DSL Tools forum, and my wife Damla for her patience.

Hi,

Very interesting tool. I have two questions though.

1) Unless I am wrong I do not see the some sort of default methods being generated, like e.g. Find, FindAll, Delete,... Are you planning on doing this?

2) Are you planning support for .net generics?

Thanks. Both will be included, generics first.

Any idea on timing? ;-)

Don't know, sorry. As soon as I analyze the code to implement, I'll blog about it and set a deadline.

I'm doing stuff that I left untouched last month while I was devoting my time to AW. But I'll be active on it shortly.

great tool, also interesting dsl application to learn from.

It worked after installing the msi package but it hurt the sdk 2006.11.
After repairing sdk 2006.11 the tool does not work :-(

did you have similar expiriences with the latest sdk?

great tool

but i have a question.

i installed it ,vs 2005 sp1 ,v3 sdk

anything look as good.but when i drag a table from the server exploer to actw,it's just a empty class without any property.

I didn't tested it on sp1, that might be the problem. That drag'n drop support is marely a hack and I was expecting it to be broken somewhere in the future. I'll fix it if I can.
